Clinic for International Trauma Survivors
The clinic provides psychotherapy, psychoeducation, psychiatric evaluation, and medication management for a variety of psychiatric disorders and is staffed by Baylor psychiatrists in the Harris Health System dedicated to serving international trauma/torture survivors and refugees.
Students for Refugees
Students for Refugees strives to promote awareness and education of the ongoing refugee crisis worldwide, as a result of persecution, conflict, violence, and human rights violation. They aim to work towards building an understanding of issues with migration: pre migration, transmigration, and post migration and provide a platform for students to volunteer , advocate, and promote community participation for this vulnerable population, in collaboration with a multitude of agencies geared towards helping refugees.
